Contest: Signature Scavenger HuntIt is a rare treat for the members of Champaign Brass to be so equally divided between two shows running simultaneously in Champaign, with two of our members playing for The Pirates of Penzance at the historic Virginia Theatre, and two playing for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at the Parkland Theatre. Visit the Virginia and Parkland web sites for schedule and ticket information. What about the contest? Well, if you can prove that you saw both musicals, and that you met the four members of our group that are participating, you will win a free Champaign Brass cassette, and have a good chance at $25 off your next booking this year. How can you prove that? Before or after the musical, or during intermission, bring your program to the orchestra pit, and ask the two members of Champaign Brass who are there to sign it. (Not sure who we are or what we look like? See our pictures online.) Do the same thing for the other musical, so that you have signed programs from both Pirates and Forum. Show these two signed programs to us at any of the performances, and we'll enter you in the contest drawing. Only one entry per household please. All entries will automatically win a copy of Puttin' on the Ritz while supplies last. In addition, four entries chosen at random will receive a discount of $25 off their next booking made in 2002. The actual performance needn't be in 2002, but the contracts must be signed this year. That's it. So get out and support your community, and get something for nothing from Champaign Brass. See you at the theatre! |
